I've now joined the blogging family, I guess.
We now been in New York for a little over a month. The kids have enjoyed swimming in the pool we have here, although they don't get to swim as much as they would like. (It has rained almost every day we've been here; somedays it's a lot, others it's off and on.)
Todd is LOVING his new job. The atmosphere here is so laid back compared to down at McGuire. And his boss just apologized to Todd for not being able to spend more time with him, because the last couple weeks have been busier then usual. Even the busy schedule here is better then a light schedule at McGuire.
They have a theatre here that shows free kids movies once a week that I've been taking the kids to see. They're looking forward to the last week of this month so they can see the Spiderwick Chronicles.
The ward here is pretty little, but they're very nice. I've already been called as the Relief Society pianist. (I replaced a CD player.) They only have one lady who plays the organ/piano, and she's already called into primary. I've played every Sunday that we've been here, even before being called, and even filled in for the primary pianist one Sunday.
The kids are getting ready for school. Everyone is registered at their new schools, and we're just waiting to hear who their teachers are.
